CiStoTerms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and CiSto ("we", "us") about your use of the CiSto app and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.
The Service
CiSto lets you create events, invite people by email, and reply to invitations. We may change or discontinue features at any time. The Service is provided free of charge unless we say otherwise.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old.
- You sign in with a link sent to your email address. Keep access to that mailbox secure; anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account.
Inviting people
When you invite someone, we send an email to that address with your name and the event details. Only invite people you know and who would reasonably expect to hear from you. Don't use the Service to send unsolicited messages, and don't invite addresses that belong to someone else's mailing lists.
Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to:
- harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone;
- post unlawful, hateful, or sexually explicit content in event titles or notes;
- send spam or bulk unsolicited invitations;
- interfere with the Service, probe it for vulnerabilities, or access it other than through the app and documented interfaces;
- violate any law.
We may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that break these rules.
Your content
You own the content you put into the Service (event details, notes, names). You give us permission to store, display, and transmit it as needed to run the Service, for example to show an event to the people you invited. You're responsible for having the right to share it.
Events happen in the real world
CiSto helps you organize; it isn't a party to your games. We don't vet players, venues, or activities, and we aren't responsible for what happens at an event, for anyone who doesn't show up, or for any costs you incur (tee times, court fees, and the like).
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it. It's part of these terms.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time in the app or by emailing support@whosin.app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections about content, disclaimers, and liability survive termination.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that notifications and emails will always be delivered on time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CiSto will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which may be nothing) and fifty US dollars.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If the changes are material we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state where CiSto is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the courts located there.
